How the three seats move together

In short. A founder locks actuals on Startup and shares Friday's pack. If that investor's fund sits on Capital, the same filing can land in the fund without a retype. When the fund publishes a quarter or an NAV update to LPs, a linked Personal holding moves that evening. Capital calls travel the same wire. Operating Capital or Startup does not automatically book a Personal holding. The LP must accept the invite on Firm connections.

A number entered once stays true on every page that needs it. That only happens when the seats are linked.

The founder files

On Startup you lock the period. Friday's pack is written from those locked figures. You press Copy link or Email pack. The investor opens the pack with no login.

If that investor's fund also sits on Weltee Capital, the same filing can appear on the fund side the same evening.

The fund publishes

On Capital there are two publishes, both labelled Publish to LPs:

  • Updates and NAV → Publish Update → Publish to LPs. NAV and the letter for this cycle.
  • Reports → Create Quarterly Report → Publish to LPs. The formal quarter. It freezes per-LP capital accounts.

See publish a quarter.

The investor page moves

Only if that LP accepted the invite on Firm connections and linked a holding. Then Personal updates that evening: NAV, called, distributed, unfunded.

A capital call travels the same wire. It appears as money owed, beside the cash that has to answer it.

What does not hop

Startup does not run LP capital calls. Capital does not lock a company's P&L. Personal does not run a fund or a company close.

Running a company on Startup, or a fund on Capital, does not book the holding on Personal. Personal still needs the share count and share type, via Firm connections.
