Publish a quarter

In short. Weltee Capital has two Publish to LPs actions. Updates and NAV: Publish Update, Publish New Update, Publish to LPs. Reports: Create Quarterly Report, then Publish to LPs, which freezes per-LP capital accounts. Badge Published. Unpublish (Revert to Draft), Download PDF. Linked Personal holdings move that evening. Publishing does not rewrite Startup locked actuals.

A valuation is only true on the day it was set. A published quarter stays exactly as published.

There are two publishes. Both buttons read Publish to LPs. They are not the same act.

This cycle's NAV

  1. Open Updates and NAV.
  2. Publish Update. Dialog Publish New Update.
  3. Publish to LPs.

Use this for the NAV and letter of the cycle. Linked LPs move that evening.

The formal quarter

  1. Open Reports.
  2. Quarterly Reports → Create Quarterly Report.
  3. Write the draft.
  4. Publish to LPs. Confirm: publishing will freeze per-LP capital accounts.
  5. Badge Published.

Read-only afterwards: Unpublish (Revert to Draft). Download PDF or Download draft PDF. Drafts: Delete Draft.

Each LP statement shows units, NAV, called, distributed, unfunded, DPI, TVPI, and IRR.

What does not move

Publishing does not rewrite a founder's locked actuals on Startup. The hop is NAV and cashflows onto a linked Personal holding.
