Firm connections
In short. On Weltee Personal, Firm connections is where an LP or company invite becomes a holding. Open the invite link, Sign in with Google, accept. Then Record holding, Create a new holding, or Link an existing holding (LP units or GP commitment). GP roster shows Active (Linked). Running Capital or Startup does not auto-create the Personal holding. After Publish to LPs, NAV and calls land on that holding. A quarterly report is under Reporting from the fund. Open report reads it.
Firm connections is the Personal page for fund and company invites. Operating the other seat does not book the holding.
From a fund invite
- The GP on Capital presses Invite LP, then Create Invite, then Copy invite link. Capital often does not email that link. Someone has to send it.
- You open `/invites/…`. Sign in to accept or Accept invite, with Google.
- You land on Personal. Open Firm connections.
- Accept. Then Record holding, Create a new holding, or Link an existing holding. Types include LP units and GP commitment. Personal still needs the share count and share type.
- On the fund roster you become Active (Linked).
When the GP presses Publish to LPs, this holding moves: NAV, called, distributed, unfunded. Pending calls show as money owed. A quarterly report lands on the holding under Reporting from the fund. Open report reads the letter and your capital account.
Files on the holding (and on the firm page) is the close cabinet. The fund Request from LPs. You Upload signed pack. Either of you Mark as signed. Unsigned pack is the draft. Signed pack is the executed PDF both of you keep. Weltee is not a wet-signature tool.
